When and where will Novosco Camp take place?

The Novosco Cloud Camp took place between 29th July - 2nd August 2019 at Ulster University Jordanstown Campus.

How many places are available?

There were 50 places available at Novosco Camp 2019 and students were all aged 16-17 with a genuine interest in progressing their career in I.T (studying at GCSE, A-Level or College). A selection process takes place as we aim to gain a 50/50 gender balance.

If you are not successful in gaining a place on the course, Novosco will be holding an exclusive open-day at their offices where you will learn more about Novosco, I.T career prospects and even get to use the VR experience room and Playstation area.

Do I have to be studying at School?

No. The Novosco Camp is open to applications from students studying at all schools and colleges across Northern Ireland.

What will I learn?

Novosco Camp will be a fun environment as this is a summer school. There will be an element of theory as well as hands-on experience delivered during the day.  Student's will learn about their Raspberry Pi, Hardware, Operating systems, PC components, Networking and the Cloud including IaaS, HTML and SaaS.

How do I apply?

Potential students are required to submit a 250 word application as to why they deserve a place at Novosco Camp. This is an opportunity to succinctly convey personality, creativity, initiative and drive. Parental consent is essential and photography consent is requested.

What cost is Novosco Camp?

The Novosco Camp is free to attend and all students will be provided with a free £5 lunch voucher per day.
